Bexley is an area of south-east London in England. It forms a part of the London Borough of Bexley. It is situated around 13 miles (21 km) southeast of Charing Cross. When it was finished in 1860, it was described by Edward Burne-Jones as ‘the beautifullest place on earth’. The property has been acquired by the National Trust and is open to the general public.
