Beckenham is a district in the London Borough of Bromley. It borders Beckenham Place Park and Bellingham in the London Borough of Lewisham. It is 13.5 km south east of Charing Cross.
Beckenham was a modest village within the borough in Kent with a lot of land serving as private parkland till the railway was built in 1857.
