Filey is a town as well as civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire, it is part of the borough of Scarborough between Scarborough and Bridlington on the North Sea coast. Although it was a fishing town, it has a big beach and ended up being a preferred visitor resort. It is just one of the largest coastal advancements of this kind in the UK and the first residences were finished in 2007.
