Barmouth is a town and community in the county of Gwynedd, north-western Wales, resting on the estuary of the River Mawddach as well as Cardigan Bay. Situated in the Historic county of Merionethshire, the Welsh type of the name is originated from “Aber” (tidewater) as well as the river’s name, “Mawddach”.
