Anstruther is a small coastal hotel town in Fife, Scotland, situated on the north-shore of the Firth of Forth and 9 mi (14 km) south-southeast of St Andrews. The town comprises two negotiations, Anstruther Easter and also Anstruther Wester, which are separated by a stream, the Dreel Burn. An abundance of other wildlife, including seal colonies, also inhabit the island. The Waid Academy, the neighborhood state comprehensive school, is a focus of the community and also through its secondary role as an area centre.
