Clynderwen is a rural straight village and also neighborhood, traditionally in Carmarthenshire in Wales, but administered as part of Pembrokeshire. It rests on the A478 Tenby to Cardigan road south of the village of Llandissilio and also north of the community of Narberth. Clunderwen, converting into English as “oak thicket”, is called after an estate of the exact same name. On 1 April 2003, the village was transferred from the administrative region of Carmarthenshire to that of Pembrokeshire, complying with a limit adjustment between the areas. At the same time, a name adjustment to Clunderwen was proposed to reflect the actual use by the neighborhood council and on road and other indications.
