If you’ve just had your conservatory built or want to give it a reboot, you’ll be wanting to decorate it as soon as possible. But where do you start? There are so many ways to update it, and it all depends on what you want to use your conservatory for.
I’ve put together 5 ways you can decorate your conservatory and make it a room you want to enjoy all year round.
1. Bring the outside in
A conservatory is a wonderful place to retreat to when you want to enjoy your garden but don’t fancy sitting outside. So why not make it a beautiful area full of plants and flowers to immerse yourself in nature? Add comfortable chairs that you’ll love to relax in with a book in the sunshine coming through the windows.
2. Create a second living room
If you need a little more space to relax in the evening, create a cosy second living room. The big sofa and plump cushions make this conservatory a very welcoming place.
3. Add a country look
Conservatories look great in country homes, so why not give it a country-style makeover? Add lots of tartan or floral prints with pastel colours to make it feel like you’re in a country cottage.
4. Brighten up your windows
Get some colourful blinds to inject some brightness into your conservatory. Without window dressings, the large windows in conservatories can need livening up. And seeing as you might get a bit chilly with so much glass, some thick Roman blinds can be the answer.
5. Dress your dining table
If you use your conservatory as a dining room, make a statement with your dining table. Find a brightly coloured table cloth and get complimentary place settings to make it stand out and show off your personality.
Whatever you decide to do with your conservatory, make sure it reflects your personality. Then you’ll really be able to call it home.
