First and foremost, you’ll have increased privacy, making certain there are no prying eyes. You are able to set the shutters to open towards the top whilst being closed elsewhere to still allow natural light in without reducing your privacy.
In addition, they look fantastic and are perfect to provide your household an improved kerb appeal. This is even more so if your pvcu windows are aged and unattractive and means you don’t have to splash out on new windows.
Window shutters are low upkeep also and may simply be cleaned with a wet cloth. They’re designed to be UV resistant also so won’t lose colour overtime, while also protecting your furnishings and carpets from the sun’s natural light.

Battersea is a residential district of south London in the London Borough of Wandsworth. It is 4.8 km south west of Charing Cross. The district has one of southwest London’s main parks, Battersea Park.
In 2001, Battersea had a human population of 75,651, but by 2011 the number stood at 73,345, noting a modest reduction. There is a substantial section of public housing estates constructed in the mid-20th century, nearly all situated north of the main railway lines from Fairfield to Queenstown. There are four substantially big estates; Surrey Lane Estate to the north, Doddington and Rollo Estate, Patmore Estate towards the east and also the Winstanley Estate, which is identified for being the birthplace of the garage collective So Solid Crew.
There are numerous notable landmarks in Battersea, one of which is the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Prior to that, the Temporary Home for Lost and Starving Dogs was primarily based in Battersea just after moving from Holloway in 1871. Other landmarks include the New Covent Garden Market, a significant vegetable and fruit wholesale market place, and the now disused Battersea Power Station which was built between 1929 and 1939. There have already been several redevelopment projects since the 1980s to make the station into an entertainment and commercial centre, but up to now all attempts have failed.
