Front doors are a fundamental part of any property and thus, need to have a wide variety of features to make sure they’re suited. Hardwood doors are one option and in fact quite popular among homeowners for a lot of reasons.
For a front door, you need fantastic security, weather resistance, durability and most importantly, amazing aesthetic appeal. And that’s precisely what a hardwood front door gives you. They look great and you may even select from a range of colours and wonderful styles to create a unique appeal for your house.
No matter your home, you could look at a Victorian, Edwardian contemporary or even country front door style. Then the colour could range from a traditional white or black, to bolder red, green and blue.
Hardwood doors are preferred over the cheaper uPVC option because they’re much more resilient and look superb. They could cost you a bit more, but the extra expense is worthwhile when you consider the fantastic benefits.
