Belvedere is a town in south east London, England inside the London Borough of Bexley. It is located south east of Thamesmead and is found around 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and in terms of the postal system, remains so. It formed part of the Municipal Borough of Erith ahead of 1965 and improvement occurred prior to the Second World War, with substantial rebuilding work after the Blitz.
