Front doors are a fundamental part of any household and therefore, require a wide variety of qualities to be sure they’re ideal. Hardwood doors are one option and actually extremely popular among homeowners for numerous reasons.
For a front door, you’ll need superb security, weather resistance, durability and most importantly, amazing aesthetic appeal. And that’s precisely what a hardwood front door will give you. They look great and you can even select from a range of colours and amazing designs to create a unique appeal for your household.
Regardless of your property, you could consider a Victorian, Edwardian modern day or even country front door design. Then the colour could vary from a traditional white or black, to bolder red, green and blue.
Hardwood doors are preferred over the cheaper uPVC option because they’re much more sturdy and look outstanding. They can set you back a bit more, however the expense is worth it if you think about the great benefits.

The London Borough of Harrow is a London borough of north-west London, England. It borders Hertfordshire towards the north and also other London boroughs, like Hillingdon to the west, Ealing towards the south, Brent to the south-east and Barnet to the east. The local authority is Harrow London Borough Council.
Harrow Urban District was formed in 1934 as an urban district of Middlesex by the Middlesex Review Order 1934, as a merger of the former region of Harrow on the Hill Urban District, Hendon Rural District and Wealdstone Urban District. The urban district gained the status of municipal borough on 4th May 1954 and the urban district council became Harrow Borough Council. The 50th anniversary of the incorporation as a borough was celebrated in April 2004, which included a visit by Queen Elizabeth II. In 1965, the municipal borough was abolished and its former area was transferred to Greater London from Middlesex under the London Government Act 1963 to establish the London Borough of Harrow. It is uniquely the only London borough to duplicate precisely the unchanged boundaries of a single former district. This was possibly because its population was large adequate. The borough covers a total area of 19.49 square miles.
According to population estimates from the middle of 2014, it includes a permanent population of around 246011 people. Its site on and close to the greenbelt and ease of access to central London makes Harrow a very good place to reside not only for families but affluent singles too. Rising house prices in all London places have helped to see a big rise in property redevelopment of its existing Edwardian and 1920s to 1940s housing.
