Because nationwide energy costs continue to rise, it is ever more crucial to look at just how your house is powered. And Micro CHP units have proved popular, not just heating the property, but producing electrical power too.
Micro CHP boilers are run by gas or LPG, whilst oil fired systems are now being researched too. Despite all of these being fossil fuels, Micro CHP units are considered as low carbon systems as they’re a great deal more efficient than using standard grid energy.
They look similar to a normal household central heating boiler and can be connected to a wall or left free standing. And essentially the primary difference is they’ll produce electrical energy for your house as well, providing you with a two-for-one system.
There are numerous advantages to give Micro CHP boilers great consideration too. They’re not only permitted to get feed-in tariff payments, but they’re easy to set up and even more efficient than most boilers in the UK.
