In the market for solid wood garage doors in Gwynedd/Wales? Our expert wooden garage door fitters in Gwynedd/Wales will be able to provide the very best prices for getting wood garage doors installed.
Garages house some costly items and need just as much safety as our houses. For that reason, it’s vital that you have a garage door that will offer strength and durability. Not only this; but a touch of class will change its look.
Garages aren’t just used to house our vehicles anymore and often property owners use them as a gym, a den for children or perhaps as excess storage space for boxes, tools and other house items.
And many older designs are damp, with ageing doors and unappealing looks. Specially if your garage is attached to your property, it’s something you should definitely consider replacing.

Caernarfon is a royal town, community, and port in Gwynedd, Wales, with a population of 10,000. It is situated on the A487 road, on the eastern shore of the Menai Strait, opposite the Isle of Anglesey. The city of Bangor is 8.6 miles (13.8 kilometres) to the north east, while Snowdonia borders Caernarfon to the east and south-east. Carnarvon and Caernarvon are English spellings of the name which were superseded in 1926 and 1974, respectively. The villages of Bontnewydd and Caeathro are nearby. Abundant natural resources in and around the Menai Straits allowed human habitation in prehistoric Britain. The Ordovices, a Celtic tribe, settles in the area throughout the period called Roman Britain. The Roman fort Segontium was established around AD 80 to control the Ordovices through the Roman conquest of Britain. The Romans controlled the area until the end of Roman rule in Britain in 382, after which Caernarfon became part of the Kingdom of Gwynedd. During the late 11th century, William the Conqueror ordered the building of a motte-and-bailey castle at Caernarfon as part of the Norman invasion of Wales. He was unsuccessful, and Wales remained independent until about 1283. In the 13th century, Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, ruler of Gwynedd, refused to pay homage to Edward I of England, which led to the English conquest of Gwynedd. This was followed by the building of Caernarfon Castle, one of the biggest and most imposing fortifications constructed by the English in Wales. The city has turned into a significant tourist centre and seat of Gwynedd Council, with a bustling harbour and marina. Caernarfon has grown beyond its medieval walls and experienced heavy suburbanisation. Its population consists of the largest percentage of Welsh-speaking citizens anywhere in Wales. The castle and town walls are part of a World Heritage Site described as the Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd. For all of your property improvement jobs, make sure that you pick reliable professionals in Caernarfon to ensure that you get a top quality service at a great price.
