Interested in getting fencing installed in Filey? Using the Local Pros service it’s possible to check up to four fencing installers to get the very best deal available for the job you need.
Fencing is extremely important for all houses whether it’s the front or back garden. From repair work to a total installation of new fencing, employing a trustworthy contractor is highly recommended to get the best price available.
Fencing work as a boundary to our properties and with an installation you’ll add more protection to your home preventing easy access to the back garden. Back garden fences are usually around six feet high, which straight away makes it more challenging for intruders to gain access.
Decorative fencing or wooden picket fencing are usually most suited for the front garden, where security isn’t as vital. Instead, you’re more likely to select a front garden fence particularly for decoration and to add something different.
For whatever type of fencing you’re looking to have installed, ensure that you use our free and no obligation service to get the best deal available in Filey.

Filey is a town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire, it becomes part of the borough of Scarborough in between Scarborough and Bridlington on the North Sea coast. Although it was an angling village, it has a huge beach and came to be a popular tourist resort. According to the 2011 UK census, Filey parish had a population of 6,981, a specific number being 2001 UK census 6,819. Filey is at the eastern end of the Cleveland Way, a long-distance footpath; it begins at Helmsley as well as skirts the North York Moors. It was the 2nd National Trail to be opened up (1969 ). The town is at the north end of the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail which starts at Hessle and goes across the Yorkshire Wolds. Filey is the finishing point for Fantastic Yorkshire Bike Trip. The 70-mile (110 km) trip starts at Wetherby Racecourse. Filey has a railway station on the Yorkshire Coast Line. A 2nd terminal at Filey Holiday Camp railway station to the south of the town offered the previous Butlins holiday camp. The camp has been re-developed right into a 600-home vacation housing development, The Bay Filey. It is just one of the largest coastal developments of this kind in the UK and the initial homes were completed in 2007.
