Guisborough is a market town and civil parish in the English county of North Yorkshire. It is within a unitary authority of Redcar and Cleveland, and in the Trees Valley region of the North East of England. Mainly for ceremonial reasons, it is in the ritualistic county of North Yorkshire. Guisborough has a King George’s Field in memory of King George V, and the town’s football team, Guisborough Town F.C., plays on the King George V Ground.
