Managing the way your property is heated is amongst the better ways to lessen expensive energy expenses and leave you with much more disposable income at the end of each month. Of course, 60% of your energy bill is from heating your home, so it’s definitely an excellent place to start.
With the right controls you’ll have the ability to keep your property at a comfortable temperature, while simultaneously not wasting additional money on fuel. You’ll also be able to keep your household co2 emissions down as well.
The good thing is, home heating control systems may be used with just about any central heating boiler, regardless of the model or age. This suggests there’s a saving to make if you just go out there and get it.
By setting up a heating management system you will save between £70 and £150 every year. On top of this there are a lot of CO2 emissions to be lowered too and you can slash between 310kg and 630kg yearly.
Also consider the temperature you have your thermostat fixed on. By only turning it down a single degree, you can save around £75 yearly and won’t feel a difference in temperature either.

The London Borough of Lewisham is a London borough in south-east London, England and forms part of Inner London. The borough wasestablished in 1965, by the London Government Act 1963, as an amalgamation of the former area of the Metropolitan Borough of Lewisham along with the Metropolitan Borough of Deptford, which had been created in 1900 as divisions of the County of London. However, minor boundary adjustments have occurred since its creation. The most significant amendments were made in 1996, when the former area of the Royal Docks in Deptford was transferred from the London Borough of Greenwich.
The local authority is Lewisham London Borough Council and it’s based in Catford. The borough covers an overall area of around 13.57 square miles. It’s enclosed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to the east, the London Borough of Bromley to the south and also the London Borough of Southwark towards the west. The River Thames forms a short section of northern boundary with the Isle of Dogs in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Deptford Creek, Pool River, River Quaggy and River Ravensbourne pass by means of the borough.
Based on population estimates produced in the middle of 2014, Lewisham is a borough with around 291933 permanent residents. About 43 per cent of homes are owner-occupiers. The Prime Meridian passes through Lewisham. Blackheath, Goldsmiths, University of London and Millwall F.C. are located inside the borough.
