Controlling the way your home is heated is amongst the better ways to lower high-priced energy expenses and leave you with much more disposable income at the end of each month. All things considered, 60% of your energy bill is from heating the home, so it’s undoubtedly a good place to begin.
With the right controls you’ll be able to keep your household at a comfy temperature, while simultaneously not squandering excess money on fuel. You’ll also be able to keep your property carbon emissions down also.
The good thing is, heating control systems can be used with just about any boiler, no matter the model or age. This suggests there’s a saving to make should you go out there and get it.
By setting up a heating control system it will save you in between £70 and £150 each year. Moreover there are plenty of CO2 emissions to be decreased too and you may cut between 310kg and 630kg yearly.
Also think about the temperature you have your thermostat fixed on. By just turning it down one degree, you can save about £75 yearly and won’t feel a difference in temperature either.

Cumnock is a town in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The town sits at the convergence of the Glaisnock Water and the Lugar Water. There are 3 neighbouring property projects which are located just outside the town perimeters, Craigens, Logan and Netherthird, with the one-time ironworks settlement of Lugar also just outside the town, adding to a population of around 13000 in the immediate region. A brand-new property development, Knockroon, was granted planning permission on 9 December 2009 by East Ayrshire Council. This area of Ayrshire has seen human settlement for over 5000 years. It is supposed that a site of worship has existed in Cumnock’s Square for over 1100 years, though the earliest records start in about 1275. The patron saint of Cumnock is Saint Conval. James IV formed the Burgh of Cumnock. Cumnock housed lots of miners, plus functioned as the marketplace town for the other, smaller towns in the region, like Auchinleck, Lugar, Muirkirk, Ochiltree and New Cumnock. The town has a strong socialist legacy due to its role as a mining centre. The father of the Labour Party, James Keir Hardie, lived in the town for a significant part of his life, and a statue to him sits outside the town hall. A small housing scheme in the town (Keir Hardie Hill) is named after him. The popular left-wing political leader Emrys Hughes was regional MP for a time in the mid-20th century, and also resided in the town. William Wallace apparently spent 3 months in the seat of Patrick Dunbar, according to the poem, ‘The Wallace’, by Blind Harry. Cumnock is also in the heart of Robert Burns country and the poet is said to have actually hung out there.
