Doune is a burgh in the district of Stirling, Scotland. Doune’s postal address positions the town in Perthshire which is also its Registration County, although administratively Doune is under the control of Stirling Council. Doune is appointed Falkirk postal codes beginning ‘FK’. The town exists within the parish of Kilmadock as well as mainly within the location surrounded by the River Teith and also Ardoch Burn.
