It has become significantly more expensive to move house. Think of all of the payments and fees for relocating. There are the estate agents, solicitors and stamp duty, which may quickly cost you thousands of pounds.
As such, improving the property instead has become a lot more popularly in this country. Why throw away money on moving when you could increase the value of your own home. And extensions have proved one of the best ways to do exactly this.
You could look at using some wasted space at home such as the loft or basement and focus on a conversion. But extensions are a more desirable choice for various reasons. Sunrooms are very similar to conservatories, with plenty of natural light flooding into the extension due to large glass window panes.

The London Borough of Lewisham is a London borough in south-east London, England and forms part of Inner London. The borough wasestablished in 1965, by the London Government Act 1963, as an amalgamation of the former area of the Metropolitan Borough of Lewisham as well as the Metropolitan Borough of Deptford, which had been established in 1900 as divisions of the County of London. However, minor boundary adjustments have occurred since its creation. The most substantial amendments were made in 1996, when the former part of the Royal Docks in Deptford was transferred from the London Borough of Greenwich.
The local authority is Lewisham London Borough Council and it’s primarily based in Catford. The borough covers a total area of roughly 13.57 square miles. It is encompassed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to the east, the London Borough of Bromley towards the south and the London Borough of Southwark to the west. The River Thames forms a short section of northern boundary together with the Isle of Dogs inside the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Deptford Creek, Pool River, River Quaggy and River Ravensbourne pass by way of the borough.
Based on population estimates made in the middle of 2014, Lewisham is a borough with around 291933 permanent residents. Around 43 per cent of households are owner-occupiers. The Prime Meridian passes through Lewisham. Blackheath, Goldsmiths, University of London and Millwall F.C. are positioned within the borough.
