Killin is a village positioned at the western head of Loch Tay in Stirling (previously Perthshire), Scotland. The west end of the town is wonderfully sited around the breathtaking Falls of Dochart, the main street leading down towards the Loch at the convergence of the rivers Dochart and Lochay. The falls are crossed by a narrow, multi-arched stone bridge carrying the main A827 road into Killin. Killin train terminal got on the Killin Railway. The train station was officially closed on 1 November 1965. Killin has a tiny primary school with 56 pupils. For second education and learning students travel to Callander 21 miles (34 kilometres) to the south. The closest Gaelic tool primary remains in Stirling, 37 miles (60 kilometres) to the south.
