Are you currently considering solar power panels for your Abbots Leigh home and wish to be given quotations to find out if this alternative technology is perfect for you? Then you’ve come to the best place that can start saving money on your electricity bills quickly through the use of our service.
Solar panel systems are among the quickest expanding sources of energy in the UK, providing properties with totally free electricity all through the year from the sun’s natural rays. When sunshine hits the residential solar panels, which are generally installed at an ideal angle on the roof, an electrical field is created and power is provided to the home.
For homeowners, this can see a yearly saving close to £100 on power bills. But this isn’t the principal benefit of solar. The Government’s feed-in tariff scheme actually will pay you for renewable electricity generated, and on average this works out to £600 per year with a 4kW system installed.
In addition there’s the opportunity to get payments from the National Grid by selling surplus electricity. And of course, using this equipment is eco-friendly and will save tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created over the system’s lifetime.

Abbots Leigh is a village in Somerset. It is around 3 miles west of the centre of Bristol.
At first, the Middle English name of the village was Lega, and it didn’t become Abbots Leigh until the mid-12th century. It has a modest population of 799.
The village has an unusual history. The manor house, which is named after the village, housed Charles II when he ran away to France in 1651. He rested with friends of the King’s travelling companion and they had no idea of the King’s identity during his stay. There is a footpath called Monarch’s Way that marks the King’s escape route through Abbots Leigh.
Abbots Leigh has a Gothic church of the Holy Trinity, built in the 15th century. It was repaired and partially reconstructed between 1847-48 after a fire. The tower encases six bells, and three of them were cast by William Bilbie in 1781. It is a Grade II listed building under English Heritage.
Leigh Woods encompasses Abbots Leigh and is managed by the National Trust. There are many walk maps published online for guests to enjoy.
