Because countrywide energy prices continue to go up, it is more and more crucial to contemplate just how your home is powered. And Micro CHP units have turned out extremely popular, not only heating the home, but providing electricity too.
Micro CHP central heating boilers are operated by gas or LPG, while oil fired systems are being looked at also. Despite all of these being fossil fuels, Micro CHP units are thought as low carbon technologies as they’re a lot more effective than making use of standard grid energy.
They look very similar to a regular household boiler and could be connected to a wall or left free standing. And essentially the main distinction is they’ll produce electricity for your home too, providing you with a two-for-one system.
There are plenty of benefits to give Micro CHP boilers great consideration too. They are not only permitted to receive feed-in tariff payments, but they’re straightforward to set up and a lot more efficient when compared with most central heating boilers in the UK.
