Managing the way your property is heated is amongst the better ways to lower expensive energy expenses and leave you with more disposable earnings at the end of each and every month. After all, 60% of your power bill is from heating the household, so it’s undoubtedly a good place to start.
With the proper controls you’ll be able to keep your property at a comfortable temperature, whilst at the same time not wasting more money on fuel. You’ll likewise be able to keep your property co2 emissions down as well.
Fortunately, heating control systems may be used with any central heating boiler, regardless of design or even age. This means there’s a saving to make should you go out there and get it.
By installing a heating control system it will save you in between £70 and £150 each and every year. Moreover there are a lot of CO2 emissions to be lowered as well and you will slash between 310kg and 630kg annually.
Also look at the temperature you have your thermostat set on. By just turning it down just one degree, you can save about £75 yearly and won’t feel a difference in temperature either.

Alexandria is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The town is positioned on the River Leven, 4 miles (six km) north-west of Dumbarton. In 2001, the population of the town was 13,444. It is the largest town inside the Vale of Leven. Alexandria developed as a consequence of the textile sector. In 1715, the first bleachfields in the area were established at Dalquhurn, attracting seasonal labour from Argyll. As trade between Scotland and the United States of America grew, cotton was increasingly imported and processed in and around Glasgow. Soon, textile work within the Vale grew from just bleaching fabric to dying and printing it also. The town’s conventional industries, most importantly cotton manufacturing, bleaching and printing, have been phased out. The town was redeveloped during the 1970s with a new town centre layout and traffic system. Local landmarks include Christie Park and the fountain in the town centre. Alexandria sits on the former A82 main road between Glasgow and Loch Lomond. You can find frequent bus services on the route and the town includes a railway station on the rail line between Balloch and Glasgow Queen Street. The town is reputed to be the only UK town with a railway station plus a pub in the middle of a roundabout. The author A. J. Cronin’s uncle owned a pub in Bridge Street. Alexandria Library is located on Gilmour Street. The town is home to the Vale of Leven football club, who play at Millburn Park. The club were a dominant force in early Scottish football history, winning the Scottish Cup in 1877, 1878 and 1879, and were founding members of the Scottish Football League.
