Would you like to replace your front door? There are several options available to you but none of them quite as preferred as composite doorways. So why is this type of door the nation’s most popular and why should you think about it for your own household?
There are several reasons to decide on a composite door. To start with they look superb and there is a wide variety of choice both in design and style to pick from. If you desire a modern day appeal then you can get precisely that, with contemporary designs to go together with the times. However, if you prefer the overall appeal of standard front doors, there are Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian designs to pick from.
Moreover you’ll be able to pick a colour that beautifully complements your property. Whether you invest in a classic white or black front door, or would prefer the daring red, blue or green, the final decision is up to you.
But why don’t you consider the composite door’s additional features? Together with a strong visual appearance, you benefit from superb insulation and a hardwearing, resistant installation. The construction of the door makes certain heat is not able to pass thorough and exit your property, reducing your expensive energy expenses.
Composite doors are manufactured to withstand impacts and the weather too, lasting for decades with essentially no upkeep. A GRP (Glass reinforced plastic) skin helps you to protect the front door being sure it continues to look great for years to come.

Aberdour is an old village on the south coast of Fife, Scotland. It is often called the Jewel of Fife because of its charming scenery. It had a population of 1633 in the 2001 census. It lies between the bigger towns of Burntisland and Dalgety Bay.
The village’s name comes from the Pictish, which indicates that Aberdour has been settled since the Dark Ages. Until the 19th century when the railway was built, Aberdour was actually split in two villages. The railway has won many ‘best kept station’ awards, and the ticket inspectors were known for singing down the carriages. It is a 30-minute train journey to Edinburgh from Aberdour, which increased its reputation with commuters.
In the middle of the village lies Aberdour Castle. It was a small hall house overlooking the Dour Burn in the 13th century. The oldest part of it that is still there is one of the oldest surviving stone castles in mainland Scotland. Near to the castle is St Fillan’s church which is one of the most well-preserved medieval parish churches in Scotland.
